How to synchronize with other devices


You can play CodyCross on more than one device and keep the same progress by connecting the game to the same account (Google Play, Apple Sign In, or Facebook).


Before you start

  • Install the latest version of CodyCross on all devices.
  • Use the same account on every device.
  • If you can, stick to one sync method (don’t mix accounts).

How to sync your progress


Android (Google Play Games)

  1. Open CodyCross.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Save Progress.
  4. Connect the game to Google Play Games.
  5. On the other Android device:
  6. Make sure you are logged in with the same Google account.
  7. Open CodyCross and go to Settings > Save Progress.
  8. Tap Google Play Games.

iOS (Apple ID)

Your progress syncs automatically.

  1. Check that you are using the same Apple ID on all your iOS devices.
  2. Update CodyCross to the latest version.
  3. Open the game on the other device.

Connect with Google

  1. Open CodyCross.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Save Progress.
  4. Tap Connect with Google.
  5. The “Choose an account” screen will appear.
  6. Select your Google account (the one you want to use to save your progress).

    6.1 If your account is not listed, tap Add another account and sign in.

  7. On the other device, open CodyCross and go to Settings > Save Progress > Connect with Google. Then select the same Google account used before.

Tip: the Connect with Google option is available on Android and iOS and lets you transfer your progress between different devices and systems.


Facebook login will no longer be supported sometime in the near future. Prefer other available options.

Facebook

  1. Open CodyCross.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click on Save Progress.
  4. Log in to Facebook.
  5. On the other device(s), log in with the same Facebook account and open the game.

If your progress looks different on another device

Syncing can take a little time. If you switch devices too quickly, the second device may show older progress for a moment.

Try this:

  1. Make sure both devices are connected to the internet.
  2. Close and reopen the game.
  3. Wait a minute and check again.
