What are Missions?

Missions are extra game modes within CodyCross, temporarily available, and they offer rewards such as books and chests! To play each stage of the missions, you spend one unit of energy. Energy recharges automatically over time, with tokens, or by watching a video. If you don't manage to finish the mission in time, unfortunately, you won't receive the final reward. In this article, we'll discuss each type of mission briefly.

Voyages: These are identical to the Daily Crossword. Perhaps this is the most traditional crossword style that everyone knows.

Expeditions: Expeditions are similar to the map levels. It's a crossword with only one vertical word, and the rest is horizontal.

Mini-Quests: Well, these are similar to Expeditions, but smaller.

Secret Trails: A different game mode from the others. You might know it as "crypto." In this mode, you have a secret word that can be deciphered through symbols. Each symbol represents a letter.

Community Missions: Every month, we launch a mission with a theme chosen by our players! We collect your suggestions in our Facebook group. If you want to suggest themes, join our community! We have people from all over the world there.
